Andrea Montefusco - Andrea Montefusco

My name is Andrea Montefusco and I have always dreamed of being a fiction writer.

I was born and raised in the Southern Italian city of Naples. I have studied at university Sociology, Cultural Anthropology and Psychology. I then specialised in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and self-development. I have also completed a Diploma in Culinary and Hotel Management. I worked for more than 10 years as chef, 6 years in the mental health and welfare field and more than 3 years as educator at tertiary level. I have also worked in sales, public speaking, theatre, as linguist and resort manager. My interests include travelling especially in non-western countries (Asia, Africa and South America), fitness and martial arts, singing, medicine, nutrition and wealth creation. I am involved in the development of support groups for people with a migration background and I am an avid reader of medical mysteries, whodunits and adventure fictions. I have always written from diary to poetry to travel articles. At a young age I won an important literary award which inspired me to continue on.

I currently live near the beach in Melbourne, Australia with my caring and ever so patient partner. My ultimate goal is to retire to a private island in the wonderful charm of South East Asia.
